Beyond Haven began in the spring of ’07. The band formed after front man Brian Vain nearly lost his hand in a work related accident. A Fire had been Ignited! An Idea had been formed. Start a project that would allow each member to help write songs that reflected a piece of each individual member. Upon writing, recording and playing live shows together the band had begun there upward climb in the local Barrie music scene. As with any grand vision it would require some refining. Taking the time to find the right members to make that vision a reality was ultimatly the key. The bands New found strength is attributed to the

members that stand together today. Beyond Haven has shared the stage with numerous Big acts such as Finger 11, Thornley, Colin James, State of shock, Anvil, Remain, Mary Rose Obession....and many other talented artists. Beyond Haven began writing their second fulllength album winter of 2012, appropriately named "DON'T BACK DOWN". The Album is about not giving up, staying true to our musicical roots, and pushing forward when faced with adversity. The New album will be released in the Spring of 2013. Each member describes it as a new level of creativity, band unity, and power that has been reached.In the coming months the band will undergo their 2013 “DBD” tour playing numerous dates throughout North America. Members of Beyond Haven include: Brian Vain (leadvocals/guitars), Matt Davey(leadguitar/vocals), Jeff Dumais (Bass Guitar/Vocals), and Aedan Forsyth (Drums/Percussion). We all believe in playing what makes us happy, whats feels natural and above all what we all believe in . The past year has not only opened our eyes to a NEW STRENGTH, NEW SOUND, NEW POWER. But a future that shows great Promise. " To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to create oneself endlessly. " Each of us walks our own and different path through life, each path molds who we are as people. And who we are as people shines through when we walk the same path together. That is the path that leads us….
